Presents information related to a symposium that was organised in Naivasha, Kenya so as to bring together all workers in the area of cervical cancer and Human Papilloma Viruses (HPV) together. This was to enable them to share notes and plan together for the future. This symposium in biomedicine in Kenya brought together pathologists, gynaecologists, epidemiologists, virologists and pure scientists. The main concern will be to educate and empower women to determine the prevalence of cervical cancer and pre-cancer at community level and to have efficiency in screening programmes so as to reach the women at risk.
