This was to enable them to share notes and plan together for the future. This symposium in biomedicine in Kenya brought together pathologists, gynaecologists, epidemiologists, virologists and pure scientists. The main concern will be to educate and empower women to determine the prevalence of cervical cancer and pre-cancer at community level and to have efficiency in screening programmes so as to reach the women at risk.
