Discusses the activities of Pathfinder International/Tanzania in supporting Home-Based Care (HBC) work in Arusha and Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, and in other regions in this country, which are Tanga, Morogoro and Kilimanjaro. HBC services are provided to people suffering from long-term persistent illnesses with some of them being People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). Presents the achievements of HBC, and the problems encountered with suggestions on improvements that can be made.
