This is based on papers that were commissioned for the Research on Sexual Behaviour workshop, which was sponsored and hosted by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) in June 1989 and reports that are as a result of it. Objectives of the workshop include preparing a synthesis of research on AIDS and sexual behaviour and suggesting strategies that are able to change sexual behaviour. Includes two separate reports of the workshop, one giving an overview on issues addressed and recommendations made and the other revealing how participants from different backgrounds were able to work efficiently together.
