<br/><br/> Describes the set standards to assess the performance and progress of the Prevention of mother to child transmission (PMTCT). Where by Several partners including:NASCOP, AMREF, CDC, AMREF, WHO, UNICEF just a few came together with one aim to develop a standard tool to be used by every partner implementing and providing PMTCT services in Kenya. Some of areas targeted are the Antenatal care, management of labor and delivery and infection prevention for PMTCT.  Once guidelines in this standard tool are adhered to then PMTCT will be effective in prevention of HIV/AIDS.
