The book is organised in such a way that the plant?s definition is given, including its Latin name, followed by other vernacular names. For quality assurance purposes the plant?s botanical description and geographical distribution are also provided. General identity tests, purity tests and chemical assays are available in the text indicating accepted limits set in accordance with requirements of the respective national health authorities.
