<br/><br/> Presents a summary of the findings of a study that were carried out to examine the nature and extent of the problem of unsafe abortion in sub-Saharan Africa, with recommendations on the actions the donor agencies and development partners should take concerning this matter. Findings show that unsafe abortion in sub-Saharan Africa has caused numerous maternal disabilities and led to death.
