Church-related health care is examined with the church being presented as playing a major role in providing health care in developing countries. There are five key factors that have been given in this book that have a negative influence on the sustainability of church-owned health care institutions, which have caused uncertainty about the function of church hospitals. The characteristics of sustainable church hospitals are discussed.
