- New York United Nations Population Fund 2001
- xii, 92p.
Examines financial resource flows for population activities in 2001 in relation to the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD). According to this report, population assistance and domestic spending in developing countries did not reach the ICPD financial goals, but decreased since 2000. The international community were unable to meet their target in terms of the money they were to raise for population assistance in developing countries. Developing countries did not meet their target either in domestic funding for their population programmes. In conclusion, a lot needs do be done so as to achieve ICPD goals.
