Focuses on the institutional and financial aspects of microfinance. Divided into three parts. The first part, issues in microfinance finance provision, takes a macro economic perspective towards general microfinance issues and is primarily non-technical. The second part narrows its focus to the provision of financial intermediation, taking a more technical approach and moving progressively towards issues that are more specific. The third part, measuring performance and managing viability, is the most technical part and focuses primarily on assessing financial viability of microfinance institutions.
