Concerns about the quality, cost and accessibility of health care bedevil every country. A key challenge in the twenty-first century be the capacity of governance structures to ensure a just and efficient distribution of health care. The book analyses the wave of competition-oriented reform by comparing internal market reform managed competition reform and the role of managed care in each of these reforms theories.
