Assesses the greatest challenges faced in achieving the goals set at the United Nations (UN) Millennium Summit held in September 2000, by examining the actions to be taken in dealing with the problems while giving concrete proposals on how to increase progress. The goals vary from reducing intense poverty to putting a stop to the spread of HIV/AIDS, including enrolling both boys and girls from all places in primary school by 2015. According to the report, the goals support human development and can be achieved with the correct guiding principles and adequate resources.
