Examines ways in which sharp objects should be handled and disposed to avoid injuries and possible infection. Situations in which the injuries may arise are examined and suggestions provided on how they can be avoided. Arrangements that can be made in the structure and implementation of activities in order to minimise the risk of possible accidents are also suggested. Another suggestion is the incorporation of policies in the performance of certain tasks and handling injuries.
