Discusses the principles of good nutrition and sufficient diet, which will assist health care workers to preserve the health of their patients and clients. This book is divided into three sections with the first giving the scientific basis of nutrition, which is then applied in the other two sections. The three sections are the science of nutrition, community nutrition, which covers dietary needs and nutritional care of members of the community, and therapeutic nutrition and dietetics.
