Discusses the structure and functions of the contents of the thorax and the abdomen. Diagrammatic illustrations are used to assist the reader picture the parts discussed such as ultrasound and resonance scans. The main topics discussed are the walls, cavity and joints of the thorax; the abdominal walls, genital organs, abdominal cavity, and the diaphragm; the pelvis and the perineum. Tables of nerves, muscles and the movements they coordinate are provided.
