Examines similarities and differences between two programmes in Kenya concerned with family planning in the event of integration. A family planning campaign was launched on a national level in 1967 that provided free family planning services such as the distribution of contraceptives. This was so as to improve the health of mothers, children and the socio-economic status of the people. In 1987, the Kenyan government started planning on integrating the distribution of contraceptives into an already established distribution system to improve distribution.
