The WHO Medicines Strategy 2004-2007 was developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) country, regional, and headquarters staff working in essential drugs and medicines policy, in consultation with other WHO programmes and key development partners. This Strategy is basically an update of the WHO Medicines Strategy 2000-2003. Discusses several issues such as the challenge of meeting essential medicine needs, components of the strategy, working in line with WHO Strategy and examining progress.
