This report is geared towards responding to the challenge of providing reliable, comprehensive and timely spatial indicators of poverty status in order to design an elaborate and all-inclusive pro-poor agenda for development and for poverty reduction. It also seeks to build sustained time series benchmarks for poverty measurement in Kenya necessary for institutionalizing an effective monitoring and evaluation system for the effective implementation and targeting of poverty programs. Presents lower area (sub-district) estimates and maps of poverty aimed at spearheading improved targeting of resources to pro-poor programs.
