Guidelines are provided onhow to administer antiretroviral agents to children suffering from HIV/AIDS. Despite efforts to prevent mother to child transmission of HIV, there are still many children found to be suffering from HIV/AIDS hence the need for pediatric care. This has been made especially difficult by the lack of ARV drugs for children. This booklet explains how transmission occurs from a mother to child and methods that have been used in trying to prevent it.
